31st EU Contest for Young Scientists
During the event, sponsored by the Salvetti Foundation, the young talents selected by the FAST Jury were awarded, including: Elisa Seghetti, awarded by Alberto Pieri, general secretary of FAST and partner of the Salvetti Foundation, for the project OnMind: a monitoring and support system for depression and seasonal bipolarity; Fabio Luca Guzzi and Mariam Mahmoud, awarded by Roberto Cusolito, President of FAST, for the project Dalla terra per la Terra; Rebecca Amatucci, awarded by Alessandro Bettini, vice president of the Italian Physical Society, for Quantum calculator. Investigating how to quantum computer works through simulation; Fabio Rinaldini, awarded by Gabriele Lutteri for Motorized platform for inverted microscopes Olympus IX 50 and IX 70.
