Al fine di sensibilizzare le ragazze e i ragazzi delle scuole superiori la FAST- Federazione delle Associazioni Scientifiche e Tecniche organizza degli incontri, su richiesta del Ministero dell’Istruzione, per la diffusione della cultura scientifica, coinvolgendo istituti di eccellenza che diventano punto di riferimento per il territorio di appartenenza. Gli eventi già in calendario coinvolgono il Galilei di Jesi con “Lo sviluppo sostenibile: ricerca, strategie, esperienze”; il Sobrero di Casale Monferrato, con il seminario “La chimica a sostegno della crescita sostenibile”. Al Fermi di Mantova l’incontro con esperti, docenti e studenti “Industria 4.0: conoscere le opportunità per diventare protagonisti”. All’Omar di Novara il tema “Agricoltura, ambiente, economia circolare”. In tale contesto viene spiegato come si può aderire alla edizione 2022 del concorso europeo per giovani scienziati – EUCYS-European Union Contest for Young Scientists della Commissione europea; che è la più importante iniziativa rivolta a studenti tra i 14 e i 20 anni di età.
“E’ il concorso voluto da tutte le istituzioni comunitarie: Parlamento, Consiglio e Commissione; i governi degli Stati membri dell’Unione europea ne condividono la strategia; è inserito nel Programma quadro ricerca dell’Unione nella tematica Scienza e società; è aperto a tutte le discipline scientifiche e si rivolge ad allievi meritevoli e curiosi in qualsiasi materia di studio; il che lo rende un’opportunità molto particolare. E’ in sintonia con il 2022 anno europeo della gioventù” spiega Alberto Pieri, segretario generale della FAST, che organizza ogni anno la selezione italiana per conto della Direzione generale Ricerca della Commissione europea. EU CONTEST FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS (EUCYS) 2022: THE PATH TO THE FUTURE
In order to raise awareness among high school girls and boys, the FAST – Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations organizes meetings, at the request of the Ministry of Education, for the dissemination of scientific culture, involving institutes of excellence that become a reference point for territory of belonging. The events already on the calendar involve the Galilei of Jesi with “Sustainable development: research, strategies, experiences”; the Sobrero of Casale Monferrato, with the seminar “Chemistry in support of sustainable growth”. At the Fermi in Mantua the meeting with experts, teachers and students “Industry 4.0: knowing the opportunities to become protagonists”. At the Omar di Novara the theme “Agriculture, environment, circular economy”. In this context it is explained how to join the 2022 edition of the European competition for young scientists – EUCYS-European Union Contest for Young Scientists of the European Commission; which is the most important initiative aimed at students between 14 and 20 years of age.
